The Wolves Arc
Wolves Arc Rank Structure
The Wolves Arc is a ranked system based on RPGA standards. When a
person joins the Wolves Arc, he is given the rank of Bascal. As he plays
games and acquires experience, both game and real, he earns points. As
each person attains a certain point total, a new level is reached and a
higher rank is bestowed.
The ranks are as follows:
- Bascal
- The entering rank for a member of the Wolves Arc. This is the
beginning of the initiation process. A Bascal is not given
much choice in decisions made in the Arc. Attendance at five meetings is
usually more than sufficient to attain the next rank, reached at 500 Game
Points.
- Aspirant
- The second rank within the Arc. These members are given more
freedom to move within the hierarchy and comment on the games played.
This rank is also easily passed with regular attendance at meetings and
events. The next level is reached at 1000 GP.
- Seeker
- A Seeker is an accepted member of the Wolves Arc. They can fully
participate in the gaming environment. This level is passed when a
Seeker attains 2000 GP.
- Adept
- Adepts are given full freedom within the Arc. They are
encouraged to explore both the art of playing characters and of running
games. At this stage, members are given basic indoctrination to both the
Player and Initiate Paths. Adepts begin to explore both being a
dedicated player and the art of Game-mastering. This exploration will
help them when they reach the next level, at 4000 GP.
- Player
- This level is a crucial one for members of the Arc, for it is a
time of choosing. Players are encouraged to focus on individual aspects
of playing, and with that focus, take on related responsibilities within
the Arc. Those who choose to focus on in-depth roleplaying and character
formation take the Player Path. To advance on that path, they must
master the character creation processes of games, and learn the subtle
differences in character types. Those who enjoy the mechanics of gaming
and GMing will follow the Initiate Path. They must master the complete
rules of at least one major gaming system and be well-versed in all other
common Arc systems, as well as being acquainted with rules specific to
the Arc. When Players reach 8000 Game Points, they will choose their
path and advance to the next level
All further information is restriced to those of Player level or higher.
